How much does e-bike rental in Amsterdam cost?
At Yellow Bike you rent an e-bike from €19 for 3 hours. Pick it up in the morning and return it before closing time and you pay €29. Want to keep the e-bike overnight? Then choose the 24-hour option.

Deposit
For an e-bike we ask a deposit of € 250,- by credit card. Renting more than one? Each additional e-bike adds € 150,- to the deposit. We handle the deposit at the counter and you get it back when you return the e-bike — so don’t forget to bring your credit card.

How it works
Book your e-bike online and pick it up at our shop at Nieuwezijds Kolk 29 (De Kolk), a 3-minute walk from Dam Square. We set the saddle to the right height, quickly explain the pedal assist and off you go. E-bikes are only available at De Kolk, daily from 09:00 to 18:00.
Get out there: route tips
- Waterland & Durgerdam – take the free ferry behind Central Station across the IJ and within fifteen minutes you’re cycling between meadows and wooden villages.
- Zaanse Schans – reach the windmills on an e-bike without breaking a sweat, seeing the Zaan region at its best along the way.
- Amsterdamse Bos & Amstel – follow the Amstel river into the green and loop back via Ouderkerk, a classic among locals.
