We had a great time today! Jasper was very kind and an excellent guide. I highly recommend taking a Yellow Bike tour!
MariaI did the Countryside Bike tour today and it was wonderful – so relaxed and fun. Staff are friendly and knowledgable, the bikes are in great condition, and the chosen route is gorgeous. Thanks! :-)
BecRick showed us all around Amsterdam in two hours, was well informed, and had good stories to tell. My wife, 80 year old father-in-law and 14 year old son had no problem getting around, and Rick always made sure the whole group was together. Bike tours are the best way to get to know a city.
Ed PI had such a fun experience cycling through the streets and parks of Amsterdam. Obviously it will not be a fact packed tour as you cannot hear the tour guide as you cycle along. You stop at a number of locations and the guide tells you facts about Amsterdam. So if you are looking for a fact filled tour stick to a walking tour or guide book. However the fun of trying to stay on a bike while look around at all the sights is exciting. We were lucky enough to end up on an English speaking tour with Dutch people, who added to our experience explaining extra facts about Amsterdam and the language to us. It was very enjoyable and fun and I would highly recommend it. From a person who last cycled at least 10 years ago and had a fear of not being fit enough I surprised myself.Mostly I was surprised I wasn’t killed by other cyclists or cars. Its a great way to get to know the city and to find out which landmarks suit your interests. Definitely worth it but remember be away group dynamics can make or break a tour :)
Fuzzytwin2We took the 2 hour city tour and loved it. Rubin did a great job and told us all about the history of Amsterdam and helped us locate all the major sites of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
KMBTExasI decided to do the Yellow Bike Country tour by myself while my husband was at a work conference in Amsterdam. There was only one other couple on this tour, so that came to a grand total of 3! The guide was lovely. The ride was very scenic and green. We passed lush green parks, dairy cows and quaint villages. We stopped at a windmill and climbed up inside, visited a local pub for lunch and even stopped for a delicious ice cream. The 4 hour tour was relaxing, and a lovely contrast to the bustling city centre. Very enjoyable.
Aussie_TravellerI’m nota fan of bike riding so was not really looking forward to this but it was amazing
They were so helpful and cheerful, we started the Tour and they were always looking to make sure we wasn’t left behind and kept very safe.
We saw some amazing views and learnt some history of the city.
Would do this again!
Great, fun way to see everything in Amsterdam. Brilliant route through the city, guided by qualified, knowledgeable staff, who are very friendly and speak fantastic English! Thank you Yellow Bike, it was my favourite part of visiting Amsterdam!
Amy#CountrysideBikeTour was one of my favourite part in #Amsterdam…12-13 kms and 4 hours of Awesomeness!!! #YellowBike #SoMuchFun
BarmecharajatDidn’t expect the guide to have such depth of knowledge. Nils turned biking in Amsterdam from a bit intimidating to fun and educational.
BonnieFrank was a fountain of knowledge! We learned so much about the history and background of Amsterdam. Thank you for what was a fantastic tour!

SanderWe went for the 4 hours tour to visit the waterlands, meaning the outskirts rural parts of Amsterdam. The bikes provided are so comfortable and the staff is just really friendly. They go above and beyond to make the experience remarkable and the landscape is gorgeous! Book it and have tons of fun!
FlaWellsOur family of four ( two kids aged 11 and 10) went on the 4 hour countryside bike tour and enjoyed cycling round the very flat countryside north of Amsterdam. Lots of green fields, cows, pretty villages and an old windmill. Our guide Bart was very friendly and knowledgable and gave us enough historic information about various places along the route. The cycling was very easy but fun and we had a nice short stop half way for apple pie at a small cafe in one of the villages . We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Carol RWe (2 adults, one 17 year old, and a 10 year old) took the 4 hour countryside tour today. It was a wonderful experience for all. The kids were moaning and groaning in advance of the ride and both of them repeatedly expressed how much they enjoyed it after the fact. Given the flat geography of Amsterdam, there is no terrain to conquer. But you do get the excitement of riding for a few minutes in the heart of Amsterdam (don’t mess with a Dutch cyclist!), and then continue on in the beautiful countryside, only minutes from central Amsterdam. We were all appropriately outfitted with bikes, and our tour guide was friendly, funny and informative, and the staff at the shop were easy to work with. A quick ride in the city leads to a ferry that shuttles you to North Amsterdam and beyond. After about two hours of riding, there is a 45 minute stop for lunch (you need to bring cash to pay) and then the ride back is easy. Yes, you do get to see one of the few remaining windmills in the area. It was a very enjoyable day! Highly recommend.

timosaurusssI just wanted to say a big thank you. I attended your tour of Amsterdam last Thursday and had a great time. The staff were amazing and the tour was brilliant.
Many thanks to you and all your team for being the highlight of my day trip to Amsterdam.
Iain TingleThanks to #yellowbikeamsterdam for a great tour
Hired out bikes for a couple of days and did the three hour tour. Both great. The bikes are built like tanks so no problems at all. The tour was a great way to extend our own tour of the City and find out a lot more about the history and points of interest we might have otherwise missed. The guide was great – very relaxed and knowledgable.
Jacko66Adventure on wheels!
Macarena_pilatesThe best way to discover this city, is biking.

a.lexrocaWe went on the 3-hour bike tour with Mika – who was a fantastic tour guide. She was great company and we learnt a lot about the history of Amsterdam.
The bikes were comfortable and easy to use (i was worried about this as I haven’t cycled for>5 years!)
I would recommend
We rented 4 bikes to get around the city. The bikes worked out well to get around and to the city’s attractions fast. The service was good and very affordable.
Carlo DThis guided bike tour is well worth the effort. The guide speaks good English and had a wealth of knowledge about the history of Amsterdam and provided local insights into life in this city. Our group was made up of Americans, Germans and Australians and it is nice to chat to follow visitors along the way. The two hour tour leaves at set times and takes in all the main points of interest and includes the Old Town and a coffee stop in Vondelpark. We enjoyed it so much that we thought we should have taken the three hour tour option. Keep your wits about you when cycling on the busier streets though.
SuncommDidn’t expect the guide to have such depth of knowledge. Nils turned biking in Amsterdam from a bit intimidating to fun and educational.
BonnieA must do tour in the bicycle kingdom of Europe.
The bicycles at yellow bike tours were in good condition and easily recognizable in a city where bicycles far outnumber other means of transportation.
We stayed in Amsterdam for a short period and this was such a great thing to get a high level overview of the city. This allowed us to then go back to the places we liked. Our tour guide was great and really thorough as we got to hear about the history of Amsterdam.
Definitely recommended.
We did this tour the first full day we were in Amsterdam and it was a great way to see the city before we did future explorations on our own. Our guide was very good and knowledgable. My boys did it with me (ages 18 and 20) and they really enjoyed it too.
Katie SThe Dutch are prolific cyclists. So the best way to get around the compact capital and its environs is by bicycle. This company will guide you in groups to all the central places – saving shoe leather and hopping on and off trams! The main advantage is stopping where and when you want for a closer look, a break or photo op. Meander past the canals and bridges; through the parks; explore the city outskirts and follow the dyke pathways to the nearby villages. Marken is one such place which is a quaint stopover before returning on the ferry. Fun and great value.
postscript65The afternoon 3-hour bike tour is a perfect way to get over jet lag doing something that everyone here does: ride a bike. You can see more of the city on this tour than you can on a walking tour, though you might get more in-depth information on a walking tour. Online registration is easy, the tour guide was fun and informative. Good value for the time and money spent. Highly recommend.

지수We did the 2hr city tour and it was a great way to see the city and get a bit of history from a local. Our guide clearly loved what she was doing and enjoyed telling our group about the city. There was only 12 in our group and all the other groups that left at around the same time seemed about the same size.

krust_blogWe organised a two hour guided tour for a hen party in Amsterdam. It was an excellent way to spend a couple of hours. Excellent guiding, the guide was fun and tailored the tour to make it relevant to us and it was very informative. What a lovely way to spend two hours in Amsterdam.
AHW83Very nice and helpfull guys at the desk. We had a very good and interesting tour around Amsterdam with a very very good and inspiring guide. I didn’t got her name, but she has studied histori at Amsterdam University. The bikes vere in an very good condition, and the price was good compared to a very good experience. Our best recomendations!
