Dining at Restaurant Brakke Grond

We take care of the organization of a dinner, so you have less hassle! We selected Eetcafé de Brakke Grond for this according to our own taste. A 10-minute walk from Yellow Bike there is a unique place where the Flemish ‘goesting’ feeling (Flemish for ‘zin’, as in ‘zin hebben in’) comes to life. The café has a large terrace on a beautiful old square and serves as a cultural living room for artists, visitors to the Nes, city visitors and people from the neighborhood.

About the location

Eetcafé de Brakke Grond has a spacious upper floor that is ideally suited for group dinners, drinks or parties. Normally the capacity for a seated dinner is fifty people, for a standing drink it is seventy people. We also regularly provide catering for tenants of the halls in the cultural center. For large groups it is possible to move to one of these halls.

It is a place where you can check your e-mail with your laptop (free wifi). In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious Flemish meal with your friends or family or drink a Belgian beer. But you can also get a taste of it at other times of the day, for example a frothy cappuccino or strong coffee with fresh apple pie or Flemish fries with homemade mayonnaise. Everything prepared and served with love.

It is also possible to book a lunch or dinner with your private tour at the Crown Prince.
